About

Being a professional (ish) Geek With A Pen means juggling writing weird fiction and entertaining articles, reading as many books and comics as I can get my greasy mitts on, playing games (that one’s for fun) and stuffing my face with cake (that’s all business).  Thankfully I don’t literally juggle all those things.  As hilarious as that would be, it’s just not practical.

Me at my happiest. Hello! I’m Sarah, a Geek With A Pen (and a large pretzel)

The boring part: I live on the west coast of Scotland (quite lovely here actually when I can peer between the sheets of rain) with my partner and I work as a Clerical Assistant at the local Council.

  1. Thanks for visiting my blog so often; very much appreciated. I have to tell you that I just love your name! And I like your blog a great deal. I like the way you look at things – you have a unique point of view.

  2. I see all this talk about entering other blogs, but there is no obligation to participate. What does this all mean? What does it entail? I am new to blogging.

    • It just means you don’t have to do anything if you don’t want. If you do, you would follow the instructions listed in the awards as is written on my or someone else’s post and that usually involves nominating other blogs that you think deserve it and they would do the same if they accept. It’s a pass it along kind of thing but only if you want to. Some people decline to take part if they’re busy or have been nominated before. Hope this helps!

  3. I see. Well I really appreciate you including me in your list. Unfortunately I do not have the time to participate in this this time. I have taken part in so-called “Blog Hops” before and am happy to do my part and share about other blogs and bloggers. Thanks again. Checked out your blog and it is very interesting. I am all for the Three C’s you mentioned. How else do I get through hard times: The Three C’s and blogging of course.
