Being a professional (ish) Geek With A Pen means juggling writing weird fiction and entertaining articles, reading as many books and comics as I can get my greasy mitts on, playing games (that one’s for fun) and stuffing my face with cake (that’s all business). Thankfully I don’t literally juggle all those things. As hilarious as that would be, it’s just not practical.
The boring part: I live on the west coast of Scotland (quite lovely here actually when I can peer between the sheets of rain) with my partner and I work as a Clerical Assistant at the local Council.

Thanks for visiting my blog so often; very much appreciated. I have to tell you that I just love your name! And I like your blog a great deal. I like the way you look at things – you have a unique point of view.
Thanks very much! I really enjoy reading your blog. I follow quite a few writers but yours is one of the few I read regularly. It’s always encouraging when you find people you can relate to 🙂
I’m so glad to hear that you read my blog regularly! And I quite agree about finding people you can relate to.
I mentioned your blog in reference to the Versatile Blogger Award. Check out the post and participate as much as you like. No obligations from my end.
Thank you for your work and time!

They are like chain mail…they go around and help grow traffic =-) I’m surprised you haven’t been hit with one before now. Participate as much as you like.

Thanks and you too! (The pretzel was amazing!)

Please understand there is no obligation to participate.

Wow thank you again Kate! I’ll definitely check it out 🙂
I see all this talk about entering other blogs, but there is no obligation to participate. What does this all mean? What does it entail? I am new to blogging.
It just means you don’t have to do anything if you don’t want. If you do, you would follow the instructions listed in the awards as is written on my or someone else’s post and that usually involves nominating other blogs that you think deserve it and they would do the same if they accept. It’s a pass it along kind of thing but only if you want to. Some people decline to take part if they’re busy or have been nominated before. Hope this helps!
I see. Well I really appreciate you including me in your list. Unfortunately I do not have the time to participate in this this time. I have taken part in so-called “Blog Hops” before and am happy to do my part and share about other blogs and bloggers. Thanks again. Checked out your blog and it is very interesting. I am all for the Three C’s you mentioned. How else do I get through hard times: The Three C’s and blogging of course.
No problem. Thanks for checking out my blog. I like yours which is why I nominated it. I’ll be sure to keep reading 🙂
Thank you so much.
